Yes...there really is a difference between ski shops. We're locally owned and operated, which means we take a personal interest in making sure you have the best day on the slopes possible. Here are 5 ways we strive to take care of your needs better than anyone else!
1) Pay only for the days you use our rental equipment. We are the only shop in Winter Park that charges you for the actual days you use your rental equipment. Our unique policy allows you to skip a day during your stay without having to pay for equipment or return your gear for re-fitting. Why do we do this?
Here’s why:
• Your skipped rental days can coincide with skipped days on your multi-day lift tickets.
• A skipped day is necessary when you experience unexpected events such as illness, fatigue,
and scheduling of other activities.
• This policy does not apply to groups.
2) We grant refunds for any reason. All refunds are paid in full immediately in the same manner that you initially paid. Our refund policy is “no questions asked (groups may have special restrictions - contact us for information).
3) We provide one-on-one service during your ski fitting session. Our staff members work one-on-one with you through the entire ski fitting process – from completing the rental form to final adjustments of the skis and instructions on how to use our equipment.
• We measure your foot (not just ask your shoe size) for a the most comfortable fit.
• We talk to each person in your party to determine your ski ability and your ski rental needs.
• We explain the operation of your skis and snowboard fully.
• With groups, we may have a different procedure - please ask.
4) Kids 12 and under rent FREE. One free kid’s ski rental with each paying parent's rental. Does not apply to groups.
5) 20% Discount for Advance Reservations. Get 20% Off your rentals when you rent in advance online.
